Takeover by ABEO Group
2015
50th company anniversary. meta now has 81 employees. Furthermore, about 40 meta consultants are available to customers on-site nationwide.

Introduction of the revolutionary LaserTec process, in which the edges of the edge banding are not glued but precision welded with a laser beam.

Fully automated high-bay warehouse installed. All profiles and accessories can be commissioned according to order “with just a click of a mouse”.

meta is one of the first companies to rely on WC cubicle systems made of HPL panels for heavily used wet room areas. The facade of the meta office building was also be clad with such panels.

Cubicle production took place in the rear hall in 1967.
1965
However, Claus Weidemann became increasingly dissatisfied with the customer service, so founded his own company for "metal and plastic processing": the birth of meta Trennwandanlagen GmbH & Co. KG. The workshop manager of the Kurtscheider company, Herbert Becker, joined him immediately and became the first employee.
